About Jeff Adorador, LMFT

Humanistic, Solution-Focused Therapy for Individuals, Couples, and Families in Roseville, CA

With over two decades of experience in mental health, I have dedicated my career to supporting individuals, couples, and families in their journey toward healing and growth. Licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist since 2014, I bring a wealth of expertise and compassion to my private practice.

Jeff Adorador has over two decades of experience working in mental health and has been Licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist since 2014.

Jeff’s experience in the health profession has included working in wilderness therapy and behavior modification programs across the nation, providing crisis intervention in hospital emergency room settings, counseling in schools, facilitating anger management support groups, working for community mental health organizations and providing parent education and counseling for residential crisis centers.

Jeffrey currently provides counseling and therapeutic services for individuals, couples and families in his private practice.  Jeffrey also conducts Wilderness Therapy in the Sierra Foothills and throughout California.

Jeff’s therapeutic orientation integrates humanistic, strategic, and solution-focused approaches. While he recognizes the value of exploring the past, he does so with the intention of guiding clients toward a more meaningful and compelling future.

Central to Jeff’s work is a strong emphasis on emotional expression, emotional intelligence, and clear communication—elements he considers essential for both personal and interpersonal growth. He also helps clients recognize and understand patterns of thinking and how these cognitive patterns influence behavior. As Jeff often states, “If we are not aware of our thought patterns, we cannot redirect our emotional habits.”

Mindfulness is a core component of Jeff’s counseling practice, serving as a tool for increased self-awareness and intentional living. “I am not only here to support clients through challenges,” Jeff says, “I am also here to hold up the mirror and respectfully challenge clients to take their life ‘next-level.’”
